A NEW PAGE OF TALMUD
A New Page of Talmud is an exciting project that takes the concept of the Talmud as a repository of primary, secondary and tertiary intergenerational thinking, creating new ways to explore themes and ideas. The project is based on the weekly Parasha, consisting of A New Page of Talmud source sheet and short companion article.

We are pleased that OC is able to offer services in a safe and responsible way!
In accordance with current NSW Health rules designed to protect the health of the whole community, we only permit entry to fully vaccinated people aged 12 and over (children under 12 may be unvaccinated). People who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons will need to show their NSW Health medical contraindication certificate to the President, Dr Jonathan Erlich, for consideration.
Pre-registration to attend shul remains essential and all Covid-safe rules remain in place. To streamline our entry protocol and demonstrate to the authorities (if necessary) compliance with all relevant rules, please email a copy of your COVID-19 vaccination certificate to secretary@orchadash.org.au. You can do this at any time. If you do not wish to email your certificate, you can email us and we will arrange an alternative way to sight your certificate. We do not plan to keep copies of certificates; vaccination status will be recorded on a shul register, and certificates immediately deleted. You can also choose to show your certificate to the person on the door to be admitted.
Space at the BJE is limited. We continue to use outside undercover seating. If you are planning to attend any Shabbat services, please email your COVID-19 vaccination certificate as above and complete the registration form by Friday at 9am.
If you have been at all unwell please do not attend. Attendees will be asked standard NSW Department of Health questions as a condition of entry. Hand sanitiser will be available for use. Please adhere to social distancing at all times.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have recently had COVID-19, to attend shul or events at shul, you must have NO SYMPTOMS for 48 hours and be at least ten days post COVID-19 diagnosis irrespective of vaccination status.
