Or Chadash prides itself on finding avenues for women to explore their Jewish identity and involvement.

This includes our Bat Mitzvah Program.

In addition to our partnership with the Sydney Women's Tefillah group, we are here to assist you in creating the most meaningful Bat Mitzvah possible – whether you would like to read from the Torah or Megillah at a women's service, run a women's Rosh Chodesh Service, deliver words of Torah – we are here to assist you.

We also run the Matan Bat Mitzvah program, an incredible and empowering program of mother/daughter learning, facilitated by incredibly inspiring women from the community. This modern orthodox program is one that travels the history of Judaism in search of powerful women. Find out more about our Matan Bat Mitzvah program here.

* Bnei Mitzvah Fee - $400

Bnei Mitzvah Fee - $400Or Chadash charges a small administration fee to host your Bnei Mitzvah. This allows our community to cover costs of administration, security, logistics and venue cleaning fees. This fee does not cover any additional costs (e.g. kiddush, food etc).
